Bananaloft is a site about a bunch of Asians sharing interesting stuff. It’s really hard to describe us beyond anything than that. You’re on the wrong site if you’ve come to view pictures of Import Cars and Asian Models, or Asian Models washing the Import Cars.
Not Journalists
Also, we’re not journalists. All our content is subjective. We try to just share things that’ll get people to laugh at or to talk about. Sometimes, we get some controversy.
Toronto
We are a group of Canadian Asians living in the Greater Toronto Area, a hotspot for first and second generation Asians. Some of us were conceived on Canadian soil, and some floated from across the Pacific on debris. Whether we were born in Canada or born in Countries across the Ocean, we all have some stories to tell.
The Future
There is no revenue to be made from what we do (yet, maybe, we’ll see). But we do what we do because we all have our own stories to tell about being an Asian in Canada. We hope to one day create a vast network of Asians in North America, not just Canada. For now however, we strive to be that site that people log on to waste time, have a laugh, or be inspired.
