I took your advice and bought Rewind for New Years Eve and took it after my first drink. Impressive.... very impressive. No flush what so ever. It worked like stated above but even better. I finally have a product to stop my flush, without using any anti-acids.

Thanks for the recommendation and I'll continue to use this again and again.. Although one thing, other than the internet, Rewind is hard to find, any chance your going to go to the local stores?

I agree most of the points but I see a fair amount of non asian wearing it too, to me it's not an asian thing at all.

Besides I'm an asian and not a nerd, however I never thought of owning a CG because I find it ugly, I don't hate CG owners I just don't think CG is my style. I never blindly follow any trends, whatever I've gotten/followed is solely because I like them :)

Nobis is going to be in the equivalent state as Goose's are in about a few years, overused. I'm already seeing people jumping on the nobis train these days. Nobis Jackets in Style exchange are almost all sold out... I don;t bother buying these jackets

WHOEVER WROTE THIS IS A GENIUS IN OBSERVING THE HUMAN CONDITION IN ASIANS.

But seriously, I usually rant on about the types of Asians that exist in Toronto, because I see tons of them everyday on campus. This article basically sums up every single Asian male/female prototype that I have seen thus far. A very fun read. Thank you.

LOL some people just can't do research, first of all 100% down fill doesn't necessarily make jacket warmer, down is good because it has loft which always warm air to circulate through the jacket from your body. Feathers help create air pockets which this air goes through while the down retains heat. Also the higher the fill power doesn't mean that the jacket is warmer. It has more heat retention per area than a lower fill power but if you have a thin 800 fill like the new Hybridge Jackets it's not was as warm as the 750 fill of the snow mantra obviously. Canada goose uses a blend of Hutterite goose fill and duck down with feathers to achieve a mixture. Does it make it warmer, unless you're in the artic you probably can't test it. Personally do I know? I don't LOL. Gooses are definitely not 50% feather but not 100% (well new ones). Arc'teryx is a nice brand, so is nobis but they're made in China now, which is a turnoff, also Arc'teryx uses synthetic fill which would probably lower the price but their waterproofing is truly amazing. PJs and most brands which use murmansky (raccoon dog)is also a turnoff, farmed fur. I'm neither defending Goose or bashing, just educating some people who get the wrong impression of it. I could go all day on this. :)

So are you 14 or 12 years old? If buying a Canada Goose jacket is to be accepted - I'd have to say there are cheaper ways to improve your self-esteem.

Layering up is the best way to keep warm.

Sorry to break it to you, there's more to life than looks.

You can't judge how warm a jacket is by its brand gotta look at down fill power for down jackets. Most CG and moose knuckles have a DFP of 625 which is nothing. Same goes for Moncler. I personally recommend North Face, its got a DFP range from 600- 900. The North face Diez jacket with 900 DFP is only selling for $350 but looks way more sleek than the other brands plus the quality of their down is top notch...very warm and no funky smell.

It is a offensive. It is a ignorant. But I read it because there was some funny parts and there are some interesting stuff. Honestly though, feels a bit highschool.

This article does have some direct observations though, like how asians who have settled down (ie white washed) seem to look down upon FOBs. I am a white washed asian (according to this article), I admit sometimes I look upon FOBs with dislike. Then I realize, these are people who know more about their culture than I do. They are proud, they maybe gangsta or whatever, but they are just trying to display a culture in a way that doesn't make them look "weak" or "second class". I realize how little I know about my culture, and at the end of the day, I'm not a white man. I suck being a fake white man, so I don't even try. I'm not a asian either, even though my apperance is definitely an asian. I'm in nowhere and I belong nowhere.

To the soulless asians trying to be white, don't. Just let things be, and it will work out. You just live and adapt. In the north american society, in the end, people will only look at what you accomplished, how much money you made, etc , etc. Race is arbitrary, it doesn't matter.

Let me tell you a story. I once saw some kids playing at a playground. One of the kid was black and the rest was white. They get along mighty fine. They are having fun. And they started to talk about somethings, like kids do, they don't mean no harm, They just made some comments about skin color, I don't remember what it was exactly, but the black kid just said, "no, I'm not black, I'm totally white. No I'm white I swear". And so they played on, the conversation they had seemed forgotten. the black kid playing and marching like he knew where he was going, but he was lost, trying to run away from his own shadow.

To the asians who refuse to urr... shall we say, to be assimilated to a certain degree, you have walked in the welcoming arm of new countries which grants you the right to work, the right to pursue your happiness, and the right to prove yourself. But you are in a country that is willing to share that all with you, you need to give something back. I frown upon dual citizenship holders who only hold canadian passports to gain benefits from it while never really contribute to Canada.

Having a cultural identity is fine, but don't wall yourself in. It creates misconception. What ya gotta know, you are in North America. Don't walk on the magical land with fright and mistrust, embrace it.

They are proud, they maybe gangsta or whatever, but they are just trying to display a culture in a way that doesn’t make them look “weak” or “second class”. I realize how little I know about my culture, and at the end of the day, I’m not a white man. I suck being a fake white man, so I don’t even try. I’m not a asian either, even though my apperance is definitely an asian. I’m in nowhere and I belong nowhere.

Stephanie, I have a very similar background and can definitely relate to you. Loved this article, it inspired me to write about my own experience with finding my cultural identity:
