Here are some interesting facts about Modeling and Photography!

Modeling

There is usually a MUA and Hair stylist on set but for the purpose of a student project, they are not present and needed.
MUA = Make up artist.

Wardrobe: usually when you are called in for a photo session, they will provide you with clothing because beforehand, during the auditions, you have already filled in your sizings for top, inseam, leg, shoes and jacket. Other wise, they will ask you to bring in your own wardrobe.

Photography

The camera used today was the Canon 40D. It was marketed since 2007. It shoots on a 10.1 MP which was one of the highest resolutions back then.
As you can see, lenses are key part of the cameras and are very expensive!
The most expensive lens is around $100K, and the slightest movement can blur the camera!
Lighting is the most important and most expensive pieces of equipments needed for photography!
During the shoot, there is a mode called “Burst” which allows you to take multi shots in a second!

A lot of short films, commercials, photographs are shot with the Canon 5D or 7D. Like Nigahiga’s latest feature film, it was shot with a Canon 5D !

So when you have a photo shoot, just have fun and be natural!
