AOTI: Five Video Extravaganza

Hey everyone

What’s that you say? It’s Friday and you’ve been glued to your laptop since Wednesday night eagerly waiting for me to post those three videos I promised?

Yes, I’m pretty down on myself for not having my videos ready for Thursday, and I apologize for making you wait. I always try to make sure though that I don’t rush my work, since its much more important to me to make everything I post a consistent quality.

Still though, I technically botched up my epic holiday pledge so to make amends, I’ve got not one… not three…. but FIVE VIDEOS. FIVE. I HAVEN”T SEPT IN 48 HOURS. I’VE HAD BLACK AND YELLOW ON LOOP THE WHOLE TIME, AND I STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS.

1. BanaLoft Minis: “Racist”

You know the saying “If you can’t beat em, join em?” It may just be that that saying does not apply to all situations.

2. BanaLoft Minis: “Racist” Bloopers

“Racist” was a lot of fun to shoot, mostly because I got to work with Lester and Conrad–friends since long before the loft–and the lovely Helena, also a very old friend. The bloopers are my way of sharing with you all how much fun making these videos are.

3. AOTI: Episode 1 – “Sohail”

The pilot episode runs just over 10 minutes, but its a solid interview where Sohail–a student of Pakistani descent at the university of Toronto–wows me with his knowledge of Chinese culture and his shocking Cantonese vocabulary.  He teaches me some swear words, we talk about a certain epic Asian dad, and the trials of interracial dating. Mission through, and you might be impressed.  I end the interview by revealing Sohail’s Ultimate Test of which he must succeed to earn his title as an Honorary Asian.

4. AOTI: Episode 1 – How he thinks the Ultimate Test will go

In this bonus video, Sohail shows us exactly how he thinks his ultimate test will go.

Will the real thing be as smooth as the enactment? See the conclusion of Sohail’s journey to earn his title as an honorary Asian.

Now I hope you all enjoy these. I know I promised to have the first episode of “Geek Off!” but the footage we shot was corrupted or something, so that will have to wait. To make it up to you guys I’ll probably sing a song or something. Why? I don’t know, shut up, that’s why. Anyway, I’m going to go pass out now.
